MY FOCUS
Grief and loss are naturally occurring themes in our lives. If we live and love, we will lose and grieve. This happens most certainly when experiencing the death of a loved-one but also when passing through other life stages like break-ups and divorces, school or job changes, retirements, empty nests, life-changing illnesses, and preparing for our own deaths. Even exciting beginnings (new relationships, new family members) can bring up feelings of loss related to our old ways of being. Ignored grief may look like depression, anxiety, anger, guilt, and interpersonal difficulties. I am passionate about assisting people through these times and I enjoy working with adults of all ages, at all stages.

Using an inclusive mix of psychodynamic therapies (person-centered therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, emotionally focused therapy), based in an attachment philosophy that considers our earliest relationships, we will work together to understand your story and unfold your future. Depending on your goals, our collaboration can be geared toward shorter-term or longer-term treatment. We decide together.

My practice offers a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation. Afterward, my fees range from $150 to $210. I accept cash, checks, major credit cards, and FSA/HSA cards. I am in-network with most commercial Aetna (not Duke Select and BCBS plans (not BlueHome). I can provide invoices ready for you to file out-of-network insurance claims as well. I am not an ACA, Medicare, or Medicaid provider at this time.
